So nice to be driving on a fogy road early in the morning with gold, green and red trees on each side. To see the white silhouettes of distant forest and power poles. Smell of leaf litters, cold air and wetness builds memory and emotion.

I was on the road with a friend today to the city and the road she took had to be the best one for weather like this. Most dislike the cold, gloomy overcasts but I for one find it so cozy, and love the weather to be this way when going somewhere, (possibly because when its sunny, I get car sick when in a hot car). This is just one of those days that only come once a season. Not always these kind of overcast days specifically, but these days that are just perfect to an emotional sense.

Can't wait for the next precipitation. Weather channel says its coming by tonight. Don't care whether its rain or snow or both, each are just so peaceful. Calm rain makes a wonderful appeasing sound while you read a book, sleep or sit with a pet in lamp light. Snow is silent and makes you dream off from your current place. Both make you forget any problems and help you escape to a mind fill of peace. Just the kind of thing for someone who needs stress relief and relaxation. I'm the kind of person to open a window during rain or flurry just to sit there and watch it aimlessly.

Some may disagree with me when I state the beauty of this natural phenomenon, and some may find similar feelings to other ones, but all together, as long as it brings you serenity, its purpose has been met.

This is nature's way of soothing the soul. The kind of nurturing only a Mother can do.
